COVID-19 is in the news everywhere and we want to provide you with the latest update from the wonderful world of dentistry.
In step with Governor Newsom’s recent Declaration of a State of Emergency, the California Dental Association has released the following recommendations in which our office is implementing:
“The California Dental Association (CDA) strongly recommends that dentists practicing in California voluntarily suspend non-essential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days. CDA does not make this request lightly, and it is being done out of an abundance of caution during this historic public health emergency. As health care professionals, we all have a role to play in "flattening the curve" in order to follow sound, scientific public health advice to help limit infections and slow the spread of the virus.”
Our patient’s and our team’s health and safety is always the number one priority for us at Mission Peak Dental Care. We are reaching out to our patients that are on the schedule until April 7th and we will be rescheduling all appointments to a later date.
We appreciate your support and understanding in this and thank you in advance. We will continue to inform you as more information comes across and evolves.
Stay well, hydrate, eat nutritious foods and get plenty of sleep if you can.
We look forward to serving you once this settles down and we truly wish a healthy outcome for all.
Dr. Aparna Borole and team at Mission Peak Dental Care
